Licenciado en Derecho, Ph.D. en Filosofía Moral y Jurisprudencia por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y MBA por IE Business School, Iñiguez es una figura influyente en la educación superior, siendo uno de los 500 influencers globales de LinkedIn, reconocido como el LinkedIn Influencer número 1 del mundo en español por la revista Emprendedores de México (2019) y como una de las figuras más relevantes en el impulso de las escuelas de negocios europeas a nivel internacional por Financial Times, además de ser el primer ganador del Founder’s Award por Thinkers50, ranking que identifica a los líderes de opinión globales en la gestión de empresas.
Actualmente, Iñiguez es el Presidente de IE University (España) y profesor de Dirección Estratégica. También es miembro del Board de Headspring, joint venture de Financial Times y IE Business School, miembro ejecutivo del consejo de EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) y de los consejos asesores de Renmin University Business School (China), LUISS Business School (Italia), Mazars University (Francia), la Russian Presidential Academy y la Fundaçao Getulio Vargas (Brasil). Anteriormente se desempeñó como Director de Relaciones Externas en IE, fue Decano en IE Business School y Rector de IE Business School.
Ha sido autor de varios libros, tales como “The Learning Curve: How Business Schools Are Reinventing Education” (2011), “Cosmopolitan Managers: Executive Education That Works” (2016), y “In An Ideal Business: How the Ideas of 10 Female Philosophers bring Values to the Workplace”, así como editor de “Business Despite Borders: Companies in the Age of Populist Anti-Globalization” (2018).

Santiago Iñiguez holds a Ph.D. in Moral Philosophy and Jurisprudence from Complutense University, Spain, and an MBA from IE Business School. Iñiguez is a recognized influencer in higher education, he is one of the 500 Global LinkedIn Influencers and was also recognized as the LinkedIn Influencer number one in Spanish by Emprendedores de México (2019) and he was portrayed by the Financial Times as “one of the most significant figures in promoting European business schools internationally”. Moreover, he is the first winner of the Founder’s Award of Thinkers50, ranking that identifies global opinion leaders in business management.
Currently, Iñiguez is the president of IE University (Spain) and professor of Strategic Management, as well as a board member of Headspring, a joint venture between the Financial Times and IE Business School. Iñiguez serves on the boards of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), Renmin University Business School (China), LUISS Business School (Italy), Mazars University (France), Russian Presidential Academy and Fundaçao Getulio Vargas (Brazil). Previously, he was director of External Relations at IE, dean of the IE Business School and provost of the IE University.
