Gloria Crisp

Dr. Crisp is a Professor of Adult and Higher Education at Oregon State University. Her research seeks to identify practices and policies that can reduce inequities in college outcomes. Dr. Crisp has published over 60 articles, book chapters, and policy reports and her research has been cited over 6,500 times. Her survey instrument, the College Student Mentoring Scale (CSMS), ​is currently being used at institutions around world to evaluate the effectiveness of mentoring relationships. Dr. Crisp has won several awards for her mentoring work including the 2020 Mentoring Award from the Association for the Study of Higher Education and the Beacon Award for Excellence in Student Achievement and Success from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
