David Yeager

David Yeager, PhD, es profesor de Psicología en la University of Texas at Austin y cofundador del Texas Behavioral Science and Policy Institute. Su investigación, desarrollada junto a investigadores como Carol Dweck, Angela Duckworth y Greg Walton, se ha centrado en intervenciones breves pero de alto impacto que buscan influir en comportamientos y experiencias de adolescentes, abordando temas como la motivación, el compromiso escolar, la alimentación saludable, el bullying, el estrés y la salud mental.

David Yeager, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and cofounder of the Texas Behavioral Science and Policy Institute. His research, conducted with scholars including Carol Dweck, Angela Duckworth, and Greg Walton, focuses on brief but powerful interventions designed to influence adolescent behaviors and experiences, addressing topics such as motivation, engagement, healthy eating, bullying, stress, and mental health.

Throughout his career, he has consulted for organizations including Google, Microsoft, Disney, and the World Bank, as well as the White House and the governments of California, Texas, and Norway. His research has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, CNN, The Guardian, and The Atlantic, among other media outlets. Before becoming a researcher, he worked as a middle school teacher and basketball coach. He earned his PhD and MA from Stanford University and his BA and MEd from the University of Notre Dame.
